Questions & Answers

Planning a fence or another property project? Find out how estimates, materials, site visits, and scheduling work. If your situation is different, tell us about it.

Getting Started

How do I get a quote?
Tell us what you need through the Request Site Visit form or call or text us. Photos, approximate measurements, your location, and the type of fence or work you want help us understand the project. We will follow up about the next step; a site visit lets us confirm the scope and prepare a final quote.
Is the instant fence estimate my final price?
No. The online tool provides a rough planning estimate based on the information you enter. It is intentionally calculated toward the higher end of our typical range. We verify the measurements, layout, terrain, access, ground conditions, and material choices in person before providing a final quote. Your final price may be lower.
What should I prepare for a site visit?
Think about where the fence should run, what you want to keep in or out, the look you prefer, and where gates need to go. If you have a survey, HOA guidelines, or photos of an existing fence, bring those along. You do not need a finished plan before contacting us.
Do you accept small jobs and repairs?
Yes. We consider short fence runs, individual gates, repairs, and other smaller property projects. The price depends on the materials, travel, labor, and site conditions involved; send us the details and we can discuss the scope.

Fence Materials & Design

What kinds of fences do you install?
Our fencing work includes cedar privacy, galvanized and black vinyl-coated chain link, PVC vinyl, ornamental steel, field and woven wire, no-climb, hog wire, and barbed wire. We also install walk gates, drive gates, and custom gate configurations. Browse Fence Styles to compare the options.
Why do you use steel posts for cedar privacy fences?
Steel posts give a cedar privacy fence a strong structural base and avoid relying on buried wood posts. We plan post placement, fence height, gates, and the layout around the needs of your property. Ask us about finish details such as cap and trim, arch-cut tops, and kick boards.
Can I choose different fence styles on the same property?
Yes. A project can combine styles where they serve different purposes, such as cedar privacy along one side and black chain link around another area. We can review the transitions, gate locations, and appearance with you during the site visit.
What gate options are available?
We build and install walk gates, double drive gates, chain link gates, heavier duty gate options, and custom entries. Wide openings and cantilever gates need their own site evaluation. Tell us how you will use the opening so the design fits your daily access needs.
Can you add privacy to a chain link fence?
Privacy slats are an available option for some chain link installations. We can discuss the finish, fence height, and the level of screening you want before finalizing the material selection.
Do you install agricultural and livestock fencing?
Yes. We offer field and woven wire, no-climb, hog wire, and barbed wire for acreage and livestock applications. Corners, braces, tensioning, terrain, gates, and the animals or use of the property all affect the layout and final quote.

Repairs & Existing Fences

Can you repair a fence or gate instead of replacing everything?
Often, yes. We can inspect damaged sections, posts, and gates and talk through repair or replacement options. Photos help us understand the problem, but hidden damage and the condition of the remaining fence may require an in-person look.
Can you remove and dispose of my old fence?
Yes. Tell us about the existing fence when requesting your quote. Tear-out and disposal can be included in the project scope, and we will identify that work in the final estimate.

Project Process

How long will my fence project take?
The schedule depends on fence length, style, gates, terrain, material availability, weather, and other booked work. Once we review your project, we can discuss an expected start window and the work involved. We will communicate any changes that affect scheduling.
Do I need to know my property lines?
Please have a survey or reliable boundary information available if the fence is going near a property line. We can discuss layout during the visit, but a site visit is not a boundary survey. HOA rules and any required approvals should also be identified before installation.
What about underground utilities?
Utility locations must be addressed before digging. Please tell us about private lines, irrigation, invisible fencing, or other buried features that may not appear on a standard utility locate. We will coordinate the installation schedule around the required preparation.
Are you insured?
Yes. Cimarron Valley Property Services is insured. If you need insurance information for an HOA or project approval, let us know when we discuss your project.

Service Area & Other Work

Where do you work?
We are based in Guthrie and serve communities across Central Oklahoma, generally within about 100 miles. Our Service Area page lists many towns we serve. If your location is not listed, contact us and we will check availability.
Do you work with businesses, property managers, and realtors?
Yes. We work with homeowners as well as commercial and property management clients. Projects can include fencing and gates, repairs, cleanouts, make readys, lawn maintenance, and other property services.
What services do you offer beyond fencing?
Our other work includes lawn maintenance, property cleanups, brush clearing, handyman and make ready projects, and select concrete, paver, and gravel work. Tell us what needs attention, even if the project includes more than one service.
